To Whom It May Concern
I have received coursework evaluation subject matter competence from my prior school. I would like to submit for the Academic Degree Major Option for a theatre/English credential. I had a recent higher education school ( teaching program) tell me I would need to enroll in a teacher program. On CTC documents for the Academic Degree Major option it does not state to enroll into a credential program. I have already acquired teacher preparation in undergraduate , graduate, and with prior employers.
My question, is how can CTC help individuals whom have acquired teacher preparation already that do not need to enroll into a teaching program? Also, many need to work to support themselves financially in a teaching program. A recent counselor, has stated to me you can be employed full-time nor work while in a teaching program. I reside in California, need to work in order to maintain and support myself. How can the CTC help aspiring teachers utilize coursework that they have without having to enroll into the credential program? Also, their is a question on CTC questions section on the website, on page five, Q13( A13), it states that an individual not need to enroll into a teaching program. A school credential analyst, informed that I would need to enroll. I look forward to hear from you.
