Good Afternoon,
My name is Renee Costello and I am a Education Specialist with a TPSL that allows me to teach as a substitute long term.
I am wanting to apply for this waiver because I have 2 of three CSETs for multi subject left to take. I have completed my Liberal Studies Bachelor degree, all my credential courses and all my Masters in Education courses. I am a student at Brandman University and they said they stopped giving the waiver in December 2020. I want my internship so I can except this Resource teaching position that I have been offered. I have struggled financially because COVID. Substitute teachers dont get paid when they do not work. I need a full time teaching position. Can you include in this executive order Private Universities like Brandman so i can have this Internship offer.
I need help with this please. All my courses are done. I also wondered about the Bachelor degree being what i need for subject matter competency to have the waiver of the CSET multisubject tests.
Can i go straight to CTC and file for this waiver ? Brandman is not particapating.
This is not fair to those in my shoes.
Help please!!
