I felt that the TPA was extremely ineffective at determining whether or not I was an effective teacher. As a VAPA teacher (music), the TPA was so unneccesarily convoluted, and it felt more like I had to find a way to shoehorn my subject into the test, as opposed to the test being designed for my benefit.
