Dear Commissioners,
My name is Monica Keyser and I am an occupational therapist for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. I am writing to ask the commission to authorize a Clinical and Rehabilitative credential for OTs and PTs. As a part of a large school district I have the opportunity to work alongside 15 highly educated, experienced, and qualified OT’s and PT’s here in San Ramon. While we work collaboratively amongst ourselves to continuously expand our knowledge and training to best support our students, we do so without room to advance our careers within the school district. With access to a credential, OTs and PTs would have the unique opportunity to offer a highly skilled and holistic lens to administration further benefiting the outcomes of our students.
